The 12 Questions of Christmas

So, Christmas is a-comin'.

Look what i have for you.

1. Christmas is super duper awesomeness.

2. In memories, what was the best part of your Christmases past? The year Santa gave me and Chloe our two baby rats, our very first pets that we can remember who didn't have scales or fins.

3. Was Santa ever good to you? Why yes. I recall a year many eons ago when Santa got me tickets to a Backstreet Boys concert who, at the time, I was desperately in love with. Ah, those were the days. Bad music and boy bands.

4. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or both? I swing both ways. Christmas Eve at Grandma's with the fam, then Christmas morn with the parentals and sibling.

5. Is there something you make each and every year? [craft or recipe] I've decided to start some new traditions, one of which will be making Chrsitmas cookies every year, a recipe handed down to my dad from his mom, my Granny Rosie.

6. What are your favorite five Christmas songs/hymns?

Christmas Wrapping, The Waitresses

My Christmas List, Simple Plan

Christmas Eve / Sarajevo 12/24, Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Merry Merry Merry Frickin Christmas, Frickin A

What's This?, Danny Elfman (from nightmare Before Christmas)

7. Is there a new tradition for Christmas since your childhood days? I have to say no because these are my childhood days.

8. Describe one of your Christmas trips. [whether it's across town or across country] Jeez, uh, there was the year we lived in Florida and we were there for Christmas. Other than that the only place I go is my Grandma's, which is ten minutes away, and it's basically the same story every year.

9. Do you have a special Christmas outfit to wear for the day? I do not, but that could be a good idea. Christmas morning my usual outift is underwear, t-shirt, possibly pajama bottoms, dark circles under my eyes, and Fergus hair.

10. Have YOU or any of your family members sat on Santa's lap? Oh, hell yeah. I love sitting on Santa's lap so much. This year we're going to do it with STUN, it'll be shweet.

11. What is/or will be on your Christmas tree this year? Lights, angel, wonderful ornaments, possibly little rats, but no tinsel. I forbade tinsel years ago.

12. Do you/or have you decorated your yard for Christmas? Never in my memory. What can I say? We have a Scrooge style Christmas.

Christmas cookies! Yes! I'm ready. Your mom loves the way the kitchen looks after we've put together a batch!
