It's good to know what 4,000 looks like, huh?

This weekend mom and I took Chloe to Seattle for her last rehearsal for All's Well That Ends Well. While she was practicing we drove around and ended up at Green Lake. There was a group there called Veterans For Peace who had put up a marker for every US soldier killed in Iraq.

Kinda hard to avoid thinking about all the people who've died in this pointless war when they're staring you in the face.

Wow. Pretty powerful images.

I got to see Arlington, it's the kind of thing you don't forget.
More then anything I choose to be thankful for their sacrifice, but to each their own feelings.

Harper, I'm thoroughly thankful and awed by the people who are willing to make that sacrifice for their country. I'm simply making the point that all these people had to die in a war that never needed to or should have happened.
I have absolutely no ill will towards the troops and never will. The president is the only one I'm angry with.
