How I Roll

Your Pickup Line Is

If I were to ask you for sex... would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?

Thursday Challenge: Red

Thursday Challenge is a place for photographic fun and learning. A theme is announced on the site each week. You may either take a new photograph related in some way to the theme or select one that you have taken previously.

Laefe

This is Laefe, my dæmon, as in The Golden Compass. I'm super excited for the movie because I love the book, so I'm a-gonna hit up the movies tomorrow.

If it doesn't load you can go here to see it.

Thursday Thirteen

Thirteen Places I've Been Kissed

1. By a fire

It was nowhere near this cool.

2. Against a wall

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
No foot-pop, but close enough.

3. In a hotel room
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Yeah, I guess. But indoors. In a hotel. And in color.

4. In a field
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Yeah. Except we weren't emo. Or scene.

5. In a gross, dirty cabin sitting on the floor
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Not even close. I wouldn't kiss someone who liked the Yankees and was proud of it.

6. On a couch

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Yeah, but I wasn't a slut.

7. In the back of a hearse

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I'm not even kidding. Except My Chemical Romance wasn't there. Neither was a coffin.

8. At the Rocky Horror Picture Show

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
It was just not in the theatre. It was outside the theatre.

9. In a car

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I wish.

10. In a bedroom

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
If only it was that cute.

11. In a game of Spin the Bottle
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Pretty much. Except there was a guy, no biting, no game pieces, and it wasn't Spin the Bottle, it was Spin the Can of Hairspray.

12. Sitting on a floor with a piece of ice in my mouth

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I suppose . . .

13. By a huge tire

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
But it wasn't a tire swing. Just a tire.

And one for luck . . .

14. On a train
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
It just wasn't a subway train.

And we'll continue next week with thirteen places I wish I'd been kissed

The 12 Questions of Christmas

So, Christmas is a-comin'.

Look what i have for you.

1. Christmas is super duper awesomeness.

2. In memories, what was the best part of your Christmases past? The year Santa gave me and Chloe our two baby rats, our very first pets that we can remember who didn't have scales or fins.

3. Was Santa ever good to you? Why yes. I recall a year many eons ago when Santa got me tickets to a Backstreet Boys concert who, at the time, I was desperately in love with. Ah, those were the days. Bad music and boy bands.

4. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or both? I swing both ways. Christmas Eve at Grandma's with the fam, then Christmas morn with the parentals and sibling.

5. Is there something you make each and every year? [craft or recipe] I've decided to start some new traditions, one of which will be making Chrsitmas cookies every year, a recipe handed down to my dad from his mom, my Granny Rosie.

6. What are your favorite five Christmas songs/hymns?

Christmas Wrapping, The Waitresses

My Christmas List, Simple Plan

Christmas Eve / Sarajevo 12/24, Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Merry Merry Merry Frickin Christmas, Frickin A

What's This?, Danny Elfman (from nightmare Before Christmas)

7. Is there a new tradition for Christmas since your childhood days? I have to say no because these are my childhood days.

8. Describe one of your Christmas trips. [whether it's across town or across country] Jeez, uh, there was the year we lived in Florida and we were there for Christmas. Other than that the only place I go is my Grandma's, which is ten minutes away, and it's basically the same story every year.

9. Do you have a special Christmas outfit to wear for the day? I do not, but that could be a good idea. Christmas morning my usual outift is underwear, t-shirt, possibly pajama bottoms, dark circles under my eyes, and Fergus hair.

10. Have YOU or any of your family members sat on Santa's lap? Oh, hell yeah. I love sitting on Santa's lap so much. This year we're going to do it with STUN, it'll be shweet.

11. What is/or will be on your Christmas tree this year? Lights, angel, wonderful ornaments, possibly little rats, but no tinsel. I forbade tinsel years ago.

12. Do you/or have you decorated your yard for Christmas? Never in my memory. What can I say? We have a Scrooge style Christmas.

Friday (Saturday) Fill-Ins

Sure, it's a day late.

Enjoy it anyway.

1. When my blog is broken, I do other geeky and/or teenager-y things such as MySpace, interweb surfing, music listening, blog repairing, so forth.

2. I saw the most amazing movie this morning! Chloe and I watched Super Troopers at four am and it was great.

3. The Golden Compass is the new movie I'm most looking forward to seeing. I love the book, so I'm really excited about the movie.

4. Work: Necessary and horse-filled.

5. Of all the new tv shows, I enjoy Pushing Daisies and Heroes the most.

6. If only it wouldn't snow too much so I can go to Rocky Horror tonight.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to the Rocky Horror Picture Show and parading about Seattle in little more than underwear, tomorrow my plans include Christmas light watching and Sunday, I want to finish my NaNoWriMo, even though November is over!

Yes, I realize that last question is confusing because the 'tomorrow' answer, which would be today if I'd done this on time, now refers to Sunday, as does the Sunday answer. And the 'tonight' answer means Saturday night, not Friday night.

Get it?
Got it?
Good.

Sure, it's two days late, but Thursday Thirteen
